Owen Robinson, actor, comedian, writer, improviser, is from Los Angeles. Owen is a trained improviser/sketch performer from Upright Citizens Brigade & The Groundlings. He has written multiple shows at UCB: From the Valley of Rad, I'm Going to Kill Shane Stevens!, Delightful Idiot's That's What She Said. Also, Owen is a performer/writer for the i.O West house sketch team, Secret Family. Owen is the star/writer of a new TV pilot, 2 Guys in the Valley, and recently showcased his stand-up for the JFL Montreal Comedy Festival at the Hollywood Improv. He stars as Tucker, in the zombie-comedy web-series, Deader Days. He can also be seen in various CollegeHumor videos.
He has written and performed two stand up specials, This Could Suck & Let's Get Cool, to sold out audiences in Los Angeles. Owen was featured in the TV pilot, Welcome to Somerset, Mass, written by Nancy M. Pimental (The Sweetest Thing, South Park). He recently performed in the LA Comedy Festival & regularly performs around town with his improv team Delightful Idiot. Owen is also one half of the comedy production team, TALL GIRAFFE, with Jason Weissbrod. Their latest comedy, the music video, KOREAN BEAUTY, was released in to rave reviews. Owen can be seen performing at UCB, Sketchcram, Not Too Shabby, Cagematch, Sketchbar, i.O West, Mach Improv, Tuesday Night Thunder, CrashBar, The Improv, The Comedy Store and various other random spots around LA. His sketches and short films have been featured on FunnyorDie.com, YouTube and many others. Owen is also the master product pitcher, having starred in commercials for: Captain Morgan, Toyota, EA Sports and many others.
Owen continues to hone his acting skillz(RESUME), working with the amazing Cameron Thor & Alice Carter at Carter-Thor Studio LA. He graduated college from San Diego State University. His favorite baseball team is the San Diego Padres. When he tells people that, they usually respond by asking, "Is everything a joke with you?"
